5 Sleeper Buses Seized Following Surprise Inspection by CJM in Banswara
Banswara / Rajasthan : Taking strong note of the recent surge in road accidents across the district, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Ankit Dave, alongside District Legal Services Authority Secretary Piyush Choudhary, conducted a surprise inspection of sleeper buses in Banswara. District Transport Officer (DTO) Pankaj Sharma was also present during the drive.
Due to these severe irregularities, authorities seized five sleeper buses and impounded them at the RTO office. Officials emphasized that passenger safety remains non-negotiable, stating that this drive aims to curb road accidents and enforce strict compliance with transport regulations. Bus operators have been issued a stern warning to strictly adhere to all safety standards moving forward.
