12-Foot Python Rescued and Safely Released into Forest in Kushalgarh
Kushalgarh, Banswara (Rajasthan) : Panic spread among residents of Potaliya Ranga—a newly formed Gram Panchayat in Kushalgarh—on Saturday after a massive 12-foot python was spotted near a well belonging to Someshwar Maida.
Demonstrating remarkable calm and presence of mind, local villagers gathered at the spot upon receiving the news and managed to safely capture the reptile without causing it any harm.
Key locals involved in the rescue operation included Jayantilal Maida, Sunil, Nanuram, Pankaj, and Shravan Maida, along with several other villagers. Through their collective efforts, the python was safely released into the nearby Ranga forest, bringing immense relief to the community.
Commending the proactive action, Yogi Ishwar Nath Ji Maharaj (State In-Charge of Sant Sabha, Rajasthan) stated that protecting wildlife is the fundamental duty of every citizen. He praised the villagers for their courage and intelligence in conducting a safe rescue and returning the python to its natural habitat.
