How much does a corrupt IAS officer earn in his lifetime?

1. Here is this couple—Arvind and Tinoo Joshi.

 Both of them were IAS officers of 1971 batch and before that, they completed their MBA from Australia. On February 4, 2010, when income tax department raided their house, they recovered 3 crores in cash.

 And later, Lokayukta recovered assets of more than 40 crores, which were almost 30 times of their disclosed income. And they also had insurance policies worth 3 crores and a flat of an around similar amount. ED registered a case for money laundering, and they are currently in Jail.

2. Here is B. ChandraKala—known for her audacious style of work.

 You might saw her videos where she was thrashing corrupt and incompetent government officials and contractors, or firing with a rifle. For that, she has got a fame as “Lady Singham” or “Lady Dabang.” She was from the 2008 batch. She also has been the director of Swachh Bharat Mission.

 Well, on January 1, 2019, CBI registered a case against her for getting involved in a mining scam in UP. In the case, there were 10 other people, including a key person of Akhilesh Yadav. And she was found guilty of having properties that she hadn’t disclosed.

3. And here is Yadav Singh.

 Although he is not an IAS officer, his remarkable contribution in corruption begs an honorary mention. Well he was a chief project engineer of three authorities in Noida, including Yamuna Expressway.

 In November 2014, when Income Tax raided his home, they recovered 10 crores in cash and 2 KG of Gold. And a case was registered against him for over 910 cr scams.

 Later, he spent around 11cr, his an extravagant marriage of her daughter. Edit 1: Amin just told, in the comment section, that Yadav Singh didn't even have an engineering degree. He is just a diploma holder.
