Initial Contact: The victims, residents of Mumbai's Santacruz area, connected with two young men on the dating platform a few days ago.
After gaining their trust through online chatting, the accused invited the sisters to meet. The Trap:
To facilitate their travel, the accused booked an online cab for the sisters to reach Seawoods. Upon arrival, the men took them around a local shopping mall and nearby areas. The Assault:
The suspects allegedly forced the sisters to consume beer. Once both victims became intoxicated, the accused took them to a hotel in Seawoods under the pretext of taking rest, where they exploited their condition and committed the assault.
